It has been recommended in church a few times now in the past month to keep a gratitude journal. I know if I actually had to write it out by hand, it would never happen. But I do think it is a wonderful idea and I am going to try to this. 5 things I am grateful for every day, at least for a month. I am hoping it will instill in me more humility, even more gratitude, and be able to show my gratitude more often to those I love.
1. the gorgeous azaleas in bloom that make the South a girl's dream
2. a leisurely Sunday stroll with my family around the neighborhood
3. phones to keep in touch with my friends
4. yummy desserts-I enjoy making specialty desserts for my family on Sunday evening...yesterday's treat-poppyseed cake with lemon curd filling, vanilla cream cheese frosting and berries
5. the perfect weather that graces the south in March and April
